January - February 21012

So we had Jacob's baptism today - it was great turn out and he did fantastic! He's been under the
weather for a week now so he was a fussy but that's to be expected.

I head back to work at the end of March which is six months early but they had a position for me and I really couldn't turn it down.

Next week he turns five months and we have decided to start with pablum for his last feed to the night. He's sleeping through the night but he's showing the signs he's ready for some solids.

He's also quite the chatterbox lately and I cannot wait to hear his first words :)

Welcome!

So I have decided to start a new blog documenting many many "news" in my life.

First - I am married - we did the deed on November 20, 2010

Second - I'm a mommy to a wonderful new baby named Jacob, born September 26, 2011

Third - I'm a step-mom to 2 great kids. Cally (my girl) is 15 and Caleb (monkeyman) is 10. It's a privilege to be in their life and help shape and guide who they are and will be.

Fourth - I'm a New Brunswicker *again*

So here goes:

If you look at the calendar you can see that Paul and I made it past the year mark. He truly is a wonderful man and I couldn't ask for someone who knows me better. We celebrated our anniversary by going away to Fredericton. We had a wonderful time.

Jacob is two months old now (wow! That went by fast). He growing by leaps and bounds. Daddy has taught him to stick out his tongue and he smiles back if you smile at him. He's pretty much sleeping through the night. He's been here a short time but I cannot imagine my life without him in it.

Cally was just in The Grinch Who Stole Chistmas playing camerawoman - Cally Who. She did a fantastic job and looked adorable.

Caleb is starting a new school on Monday and I know he will be making lots of new friends.

So we had our first snow on Wednesday and what a snowfall it was - 20 cm - thank goodness for the plowman. As of today it's almost gone - here's hoping for a mild winter!
